2021 Alejandro Australian Vermentino
Australian Vermentino
In Australia, the Alejandro Premium Vermentino is most notably made in the Riverland (South Australia).
Vermentino has been increasingly popular among Australian winemakers in the new millennium because of the variety's ability to retain a crisp acidity even in the country's warmest climates.
It's a grape that thrives in hot, dry coastal areas and gets its flavour kick from the salty coastal breezes.
Fermentation usually occurs in steel through wood and can be utilised as long as contact is mild. Generally, un-oaked versions are an acquired taste.
It pairs well with seafood, white meats and fresh cheeses.

VINTAGE NOTES
The 2021 Vintage was warm and dry, allowing the fruit to fully ripen. This results in an Australian Vermentino wine that is full-flavoured, full-bodied and full of colour.\
